Take the mountain we leapt from in the Soar post. Zoom in. It is full of trees and life growing from it's base and sides. I feel like after 2016, God was asking me to zoom in. Tighten the scope. In January of 2017, I chose the word rooted.  It dawned on me that I say I am deep in my faith, but I wanted to be certain that when life's storms came through I would still be standing.                                -----------------------------                       -----------------------------                    Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust Him. Soar

Rooted to Soar is based out of a place God has been growing me over the last year and a half. I felt like I needed to record it for myself and possibly share my story with others one day. Each year I choose a word to claim over the upcoming year. January of 2016 I chose the word soar. In that season of my life, I was exhausted and finding myself doing so much, but getting nowhere. So from the place of surrender I asked God to help me soar. ------------------------------------ But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.
